Woraden is the son of Oberon and Titiana, the brother and husband of Fredilla. After Oberon and Titiana left the world of Athran to continue their cosmic journey, Woraden was placed in charge of Athran. It is believed that it was at this point that the elves hid and humans started to take over the world. During those early times as mankind struggled its way though the wilds of the old world, Woraden was held in huge regard, his worship covering every continent. It was at this time that the other gods started to come to notice of the people, and their temples were raised as well. Fredilla was the first to be noticed, often found in her husband's presence, then their children, the twins Aulith, Thornan their sisters Melli and Silana. As each of the new gods took their places in Elysium their father's power waned slightly. It was said that during this time he strayed and took human from, coming to young women. Through these relationships a number of children were born, but only five had the divine spark that enabled them to become gods. The twin girls Braeia, and Serena, Ulmar, Temerest, Loki and the dark hearted Luccen. It seems that there was a sixth child born during this time a girl called Lollith, but she did not appear until many millennia later. As the people of the Old World moved towards technology, the old gods were forgotten as well; each one's temples fell into ruins with their neglect. Many people believe that it was the gods that send Loki's Hammer, that they were trying to warn the people of Athran of where their science was taking them, that it was destroying the world. With the fall of the old world and the return of the elves, the people returned to their worship of the old gods, seeking their help once more. In the last five hundred years this worship has separated slightly as there have become two lines of theology. While sheltering in a cavern, the Prophet Arhad was told of the ancient books by the god Woraden. These books showed the way of the ancients in their worship of Woraden. It is from their pages that the Word Sect has broken from the rest of the people. The Followers of the Word believe that Woraden is the only god, that the others are merely messengers and servants of Woraden. They worship Woraden exclusively, frowning upon those that dare to worship the lesser servants. All others of the peoples of Athran follow all, some, one or none of the pantheon. They worship Woraden as the father and King of the gods.
